Appenine Mountains on the Moon

Appenine Mountain Area in the northern part of the moon. Crater at top in the middle is Archimedes. Mountain range below this is the Appenines. The crater at the end of the Appenines is 60 km x 60 km Eratosthenes (on terminator). Mare Serenitatis is the Mare on the right side of the picture while iMare Vaporum is the small Mare below the mountains. Note the crater at the right side of Mare Vaporum is 41 km x 41 km Manilus while the ill defined crater at the bottom is Pallas with a sharper 19 km x 19 km Crater Bode just above it. Images taken with TEC-140 using 5x Televue Powermate Telescope mounted on Losmandy G11 mount. Camera used was a Canon EOS20D used at prime focus with Powermate and Diagonal.
